The foundation work for the BPA Tower moving project is apparently complete, and the construction traffic should be gone for the short term at the Delta. Work is expected to resume sometime in July to install the new towers, and move the transmission lines.
With the heavy activity, and the recent rains, the roads are very soft. The roads should be OK for foot traffic, and cycles, but any vehicles will rut the roads, so hopefully maintenance vehicles will not travel past the Southernmost powerline.
Though the dam removal is still scheduled for late summer, no firm dates when the work will start are known. We will post information as soon as anything is known.
