A Friendly End-of-Year Reminder
The “Friends of the Sandy River Delta” is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization of volunteers and users of the Delta that are working to keep the Delta usable clean, and safe for all users.
Our volunteers manage the dog-waste cans, pick up litter, and work the trails in a ongoing effort to improve the Delta for users. Recently we even began cleaning up the illegal campsites along the Sandy River with the intent of reclaiming the area between 1000 Acres road, and the Sandy.
Everything we do is user oriented, and is funded with donations from visitors like you. 100% of the donations go to maintenance and recreational projects at the Delta except for small amounts for website hosting and other minimal fees.
(* Note: We are not funding, or performing the habitat restoration work though we often participate).
In the upcoming year, we will continue cleaning up the transient camps, and we’re planning on refocusing on trail work now that the dam removal project is complete. (Of course, the important job of hauling out bags and bags of poo will continue to be a priority).
If you support and appreciate our efforts at the Delta, would you consider an end-of-year tax-deductible donation to our Organization. Even small amounts help.
