There is a tree planting event at the Delta this Monday (January 20th – MLK Day) sponsored by the Lower Columbia Estuary Partnership. The event is scheduled from 9:00 AM through 12:00 PM.
Expect to see extra vehicles in the parking lot – though we will attempt to park the volunteer vehicles to leave room for regular visitors.
The planting will be near the Meadow Trail loop East of the Bird Blind. Currently there are upwards of 40 volunteers.
There will also be some vehicles using the Confluence Trail during the event.
