There is a tree planting event at the Delta Saturday March 1st sponsored by the Lower Columbia Estuary Partnership. The event is scheduled from 9:00 AM through 12:00 PM.
Expect to see extra vehicles in the parking lot – though we will attempt to park the volunteer vehicles elsewhere to leave room for regular visitors. There will also be some vehicles using the Confluence Trail during the event.
The planting will be near the Meadow Trail loop East of the Bird Blind.
Currently the Estuary Partnership is looking for additional volunteers.
