Thanks to those who donated, it’s time we get out and do some trail repair and surfacing.
We are having a load of stone delivered on Wednesday in preparation for a day of trail maintenance. As usual, we would love to have some volunteer help.
This will involve some amount of spreading, and packing the stone, (fortunately the heavy lifting will be done with a tractor). You’ll need a good pair of gloves, and if you have a shovel, or a sturdy rake, that would help.
We could also use people at either end of the trail to inform users of what we’re up to, and that there is equipment on the trail.
We will be working from 9:00 AM until Noon or 1:00 PM depending on how the work goes. An additional day may be scheduled depending on how much is completed.
