ABOUT THE FRIENDS OF THE SANDY RIVER DELTA

The FSRD is a 501(c)(3) non-profit formed of  individuals and recreational users of the Sandy River Delta.  The Delta, also known as “1000 Acres”,  is located at the confluence of the Columbia River, and the Sandy River near Troutdale Oregon.

Our members and volunteers donate their time and energy with trail maintenance, brush clearing, litter sweeps, and of no small significance, managing the trash cans supplied for our visitors with dogs.

We work with the US Forest Service and the Confluence Project to ensure the continuation of recreational activities at the Delta, to participate in policy and management decisions, and to represent recreational users in decisions affecting the delta.

Please support our volunteer efforts with a tax deductible PayPal donation by clicking on any of the Donate buttons on the website.

Looking for a Discussion Forum?  Find us on Facebook.

Please practice responsible use of the Delta, and respect other users.
