Regular users to the Delta may have noticed a gate at the entrance, and a tire strip in the exit lane.  This has been installed years ago with the intent of managing day-use hours at the Delta.

The Forest Service will be contracting with State Parks to manage opening closing of the gate.  The gate will only close the inbound lane and the tire strips will prevent entrance while the gate is closed, but will allow exit at any time.

Please be aware that the tire strips, which had been non-functional for some time, have now been repaired.  Attempting to enter over these strips WILL result in tire damage.

Also, be aware of the small speed bump installed in the exit lane as well.
